Charles E. Lindsey
Charles Edward Lindsey, 93, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019, at his home.
He was born March 18, 1926, in Clifton City, son of William Lindsey and Janie (Goff) Lindsey.
In 1948, he married Joanna Mae Ridenour, who preceded him in death on January 20, 2012.
Charles was a U.S. Army and Navy veteran of World War II. He worked as a construction laborer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and going to yard sales.
Surviving are four children, Steve Lindsey, of Sedalia, Cathy Davis, of St. Louis, Roger Lindsey, of Sedalia, and Carol Wolfe, of Sedalia; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Lindsey; and four sisters, Mary (in infancy), Mary, Betty and Lilly.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Crown Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
