Carla S. (Jones) Caldwell
Carla Sue (Jones) Caldwell, 78, of Sedalia, Missouri, formerly of Odessa and Union, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023, at home with her family.
She was born December 11, 1944 to the late Marion H and Frances J (Odom) Jones in Kansas City, Kansas. Carla was a 1962 graduate of William Chrisman High School in Independence, Missouri. On May 14th, 1966, she was united in marriage to William M Caldwell, Jr. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1989. She was a longtime companion to Ronnie E Wagoner who also preceded her in death on October 29, 2005.
For most of her life, Carla was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, doting on her pets, cooking her specialties, collecting figurines, watching movies and playing games. Carla was elated when she became a grandmother. She loved being a “Nana” to her girls.
Carla is survived by a daughter, Teisha (Tish) Wagoner Norton, son-in-law, Michael (Mike) Norton, granddaughters Isabella and Grace Norton, nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved cat, Pfeiffer.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, William A (Bill) Jones.
A family hosted Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
