Bette Louise Coble

Bette Louise Coble 84, of Versailles, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026 at Capitol Region Hospital in Jefferson City, MO.

She was born on November 19, 1941, in Corning, Arkansas, a daughter of Loyd and Gladys (Leonard) Coble.

Bette devoted many years of her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant in area nursing homes. She found fulfillment in helping those in need, offering comfort, patience, and a caring heart to the many residents whose lives she touched throughout her career.

A faithful member of the United Pentecostal Church in Versailles, Missouri, Bette's faith was the foundation of her life. She found great joy and strength through her relationship with the Lord and was happiest when attending church services, reading her Bible, and watching religious DVDs. Her steadfast faith served as an inspiration to those around her and was evident in the way she lived each day.

Bette also enjoyed collecting dolls, a hobby that brought her much happiness over the years. While she appreciated the beauty of her collection, nothing brought her greater peace than spending time in worship and growing in her faith.

Above all, Bette will be remembered as a loving woman whose life reflected her devotion to God and her compassion for others. Her gentle spirit, caring heart, and steadfast faith will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include two children, Kurtis Ketchum of Truman, AR, Clara Craig of Sedalia, MO; two siblings, Steven Coble of Michigan, and Ome Coleman of Arkansas; nine grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to both of her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Jackson.

A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
