Beatrice M. Jobson
Beatrice M. Jobson, 88, of Sedalia, MO, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023 at Rest Haven Convalescent & Retirement Home.
She was born August 27, 1934, a daughter of the late Clarence J. and Josephine L. (Vogel) Hood. She was the 12th of 13 children born to the Hood family of Tipton, MO.
She married the love of her life, Clyde Jobson on February 14, 1953, who survives her. They lived a very happy, loving life for 70 years. They had three children, Debbie (Don Steck), of Russellville, MO, Cathy (Scott Stoll), of Columbia, MO and Kenny Jobson, of Sedalia, MO. Other survivors include: a sister, Louise Schuster, of Blackwater; seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 11 siblings.
She was well loved by all who knew her. She was a very faithful child of God, who loved to sing in the choir at Sacred Heart Church, which she did for many years.
She will be greatly missed!
Graveside service will be 10:00 am, Monday, July 24, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Mark Miller officiating.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, please make a donation to the Diabetes Foundation, Sacred Heart Church or a charity of choice.
