Anthony P. Mogilnicki, 81, of Sedalia, MO passed away the morning of December 6
th
. Tony was a loving husband, a caring father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic parish.
Tony was born in Jackson, Michigan on January 25
th
1938. He served his county in the United States Air Force for twenty-three years. Tony and family later owned and operated a small resort in Upper Michigan, before retiring and settling in Sedalia. Tony enjoyed fishing and tying flies.
Tony is preceded in death by his father Philip, mother Gertrude, brothers Robert and Phillip, and son Anthony Jr. Tony is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary, daughters Patricia (Shuichi Shimokawa), Christine (Jeff) Heath, Carol (Ric) Simonis, and sons John (Renata), and Michael (Sarah).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Sedalia, with full military honors to follow.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service on Tuesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri
