Annie Marie Schilb

Anna Marie “Annie” Schilb, 96, of Bentonville, AR, formerly of Sedalia, MO, passed away, Friday, June 14, 2024, at Village on the Park in Bentonville, AR.

She was born on January 15, 1928, in Smithton, MO, a daughter of David H. and Agnes (Wells) Meyer. On October 24, 1947, in Otterville, MO, she married Billy G. Schilb, who survives of the home. 

Annie was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church in Otterville. In her early years she worked in the office at Town and Country Shoe Factory and Thomasetti Shoe Factory in Sedalia. Annie also worked as a teacher’s aide for the Otterville School. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and always put the needs of her family first. Annie enjoyed arranging and coordinating all family trips and gatherings. 

Survivors include her husband Billy of 76 years, two sons, Randy Schilb (Fran) of Columbia, MO, Rusty Schilb (Cheryl) of Bentonville, AR; five grandsons, Scott, Matthew, Joel, Justin, and Aaron; six step-grandchildren, Julie, Jesse, Natalie, Rachel, Rebecca, and Jeffrey; nine great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great-grandchild. 

In addition to both of her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Steven G. Schilb; one sister, Dorothy Grupe, and one daughter-in-law, Christa Schilb. 

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Otterville, MO. Casket bearers will be her 5 grandsons, Scott Schilb, Matthew Schilb, Joel Schilb, Justin Schilb, and Aaron Schilb, and her nephew, Dan Grupe.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the I.O.O.F. Cemetery and may be left in the care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia, MO.
