Anna E. Smith

Anna Elizabeth Smith, 89, of Sedalia, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Fair View Health Care Center.

She was born on September 17, 1935, in Sedalia, daughter of Charlie W. and Mary (Mosby) Shull.

On December 7, 1950, in Arkansas, she married Paul B. Smith, who preceded her in death on May 13, 1983.

Anna enjoyed collecting owls, having coffee at Hardee’s, going dancing, playing cards, and watching tv. She was a homemaker.

Surviving is a daughter, Barbara O’Brien, of Cole Camp; two sons, Stephen Joseph Smith, of Cole Camp, and Edward Smith (Sandy), of Sedalia; ten grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren; a sister, Cleo Payne; and a brother, Leo Shull.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, David Smith and Paul D. Smith; two sisters, Nellie Brownfield and Dorothy Closser; and two brothers, Ervin Shull and Charles Shull.

Graveside services will be held in the spring at Crown Hill Cemetery.
