Anitta C. Stewart

Anitta C. Stewart, 75, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Caring Hearts and Hands Hospice House in Columbia.

She was born July 23, 1949, in Burlington, IA, a daughter of Melvin and Juanita (Moore) Stewart.

Anitta loved working at Ewing Vocational Center. She enjoyed crocheting and visiting with her family.

She is survived by four nieces and nephews, Tammara Sue Stratton, of Sedalia, Jeanne Beth White, of Holts Summit, William J. Resa, of Sedalia, and Stacy L. Mosier, of Sedalia; 14 great-nieces and nephews; and many great-great nieces and nephews.

Anitta was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Stewart, who passed away in 1993, her mother, Juanita Creech, who passed away in 2006; and her sister, Dianne Neth, who passed away in 2024.
