Green Ridge

Amanda Sue Todd, 45 of Green Ridge, died, Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

She was born on August 11, 1980, in Cleburne, Texas, the daughter of Richard Todd and Patricia Jackson. From an early age, Amanda possessed a curious mind and a strong sense of purpose that would guide her throughout her life.

Amanda proudly served her country in the United States Navy for 20 years. Her military career was a source of great pride, and she carried that same sense of duty into her civilian life. Following her service, she remained deeply committed to her fellow veterans and her community. She was a member of American Legion Post 94 in Troy, Missouri and served as the district 9 Post Adjutant, as well as the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1524 in Salem, MO. Amanda was especially active in both organizations, where she honorably served on the Honor Guard, paying tribute to those who had gone before her.

Amanda had a passion for learning and was always seeking to expand her knowledge. She even took courses in construction to better understand the process as she worked toward designing her own home. She found joy in simple pleasures such as trout fishing, working on puzzles, and serving as a substitute teacher, where she could share her love of learning with others.

A true adventurer at heart, Amanda loved to travel and explore the world. Her journeys took her to six continents, experiences she cherished and often shared with those around her.

Above all, Amanda will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her country, her community, and her constant pursuit of knowledge. Her life was marked by service, curiosity, and a deep respect for others.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing her.

Survivors include her father, Richard Todd of Fresno, CA; siblings, Amy Strubberg of New Haven, MO; Thomas Felton of Fordland, MO, Nicole Mesick of Waterman, IL, Daron Beattie of Portage, MI, Deamber Brand of Springfield, MO, two nephews, Ethan and Jacob Strubberg, one niece, Kaya Strubberg; and her significant other, Adam Dove of Green Ridge, MO.
