Alan L. Chadwick
Alan Lane Chadwick, 57, of Sedalia, passed away Saturday, March 19th, 2022 at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
He was born on July 23, 1964 in Richmond, MO a son of Charles Leroy and Lola Belle (Brown) Chadwick. On April 23, 1993 at the Pentecostal Church of God in Sedalia, he married Shannon Kinyon who survives of the home.
Alan was a 1983 graduate of Lawson High School. He honorably served in the United States Army as a Combat Medical Specialist and after working 25 years at Sedalia Steel he then retired from Alro. Alan enjoyed bowling, golfing, corn hole, playing softball, fishing and just being outdoors. He adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them.
In addition to his wife Shannon and his mother Lola, survivors include four sons, Cameron Chadwick, Andrew Chadwick both of Gladstone, MO, Charles Chadwick of Hughesville, MO, Austin Chadwick, of Sedalia, MO; four grandchildren, Dante, Izaac, Rozlyne, and Leviticus; four brothers, Larry Chadwick (June) of Grain Valley, MO, Donald Chadwick, Charles Chadwick, Brian Chadwick (Michelle) of Lawson, MO.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Chadwick and one sister, Debra Cureton.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, with burial to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the family and may be left in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
