Jennifer A. Busing

Jennifer Ann Busing, 50, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

She was born July 21, 1972, in Columbia, a daughter of Bobby Busing and Joanne (Douglas) McFail.

She was a 1990 graduate of Smith-Cotton High School. She played soccer when she was young. All through her life, she collected Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls.

Jenny worked as a waitress for many years and was presently a carhop at Sonic.

She loved spending time with her kids and grandbabies. She enjoyed going to the boat, fishing and was involved with her sons’ sports when they were young.

Jenny will be remembered as funny, outgoing and carefree.

Survivors include two sons, Ty Rayl, of Sedalia, and Zach Rayl (Kait), of Shawnee, KS; three grandchildren, Braydon, Olivia and Henry; her mother, Joanne McFail, of Sedalia; her father and step-mother, Bobby and Lucy Busing, of Sedalia; a sister, Kristy White, of Sedalia; a brother, Robbie McFail (Tyla), of Lancaster, PA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jenny was preceded in death by her grandparents; her stepfather, Robert McFail; and cousin, Chris Douglas.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2022, at Heckart Funeral Home, 903 S. Ohio Ave. Sedalia, MO.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
