Ricky Dale Simpson
Ricky Dale Simpson, 66, of Ridgeway, MO, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, MO.
He was born December 18, 1954 in Leon, IA, a son of Roland and Shirley (Adair) Simpson. On September 19, 1999, in Missoula, MT, he married Tammy Sue Hudson, who survives of the home.
Ricky was a 1972 graduate of Central Decatur High School and he honorably served in the United States Army. He enjoyed feeding his birds and being out in the public talking to people and making them laugh. He was an avid reader and loved spending as much time as he could with his family.
Survivors include his wife Tammy of 22 years, one son, Kyle Simpson of Ridgeway, MO; one step-son, Clint Medlin of Camdenton, MO; three step-daughters, Alicia Owens of Osceola, IA, Amber Owens of Des Moines, IA, Tara Medlin of Camdenton, MO; two brothers, Paul Simpson (Paula) of Ridgeway, MO, Eric Simpson of Iowa; three sisters, Tammy Langager of Des Moines, IA, Laura Parker (Tom) of Stevensville, MT, and Candice Wall of Florence, MT; seven grandchildren, Blissany Goldizen, Carsen Goldizen, MacKenzie Goldizen, Silace Martin, Lea DeVore, Liberty DeVore, and Haley Devore; two great-grandchildren, Incica and Arlo.
In addition to both of his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Faron Simpson and one sister, Julie Stroh.

Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia, MO.
