He enjoyed cars, fishing, car racing and the Indy 500, country music, football, playing five straight, and the casino. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Braxton. He loved spending time with Brad and sharing his love of cars, motorcycles, go carts, dune buggies and watching him play sports. He enjoyed vacations in Florida, Myrtle Beach and Hawaii. His favorite dog was named Chase. Since going on dialysis in January 2012 he made many friends at DCI.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie, of the home; four sons, Cary (Anna), of Indianapolis, Curt (Jennifer), of Borden, IN, Kenny Jr. of Indianapolis, and Brad (Kady), of Sedalia; and four grandchildren.
