  1. Our thoughts and prayers are with Katie’s nieces and nephews. My mother was Shirley Felkner (Young). We are cousins related via the Knoethe’s and Tisch’s she had told me. I have great memories of playing on the lawn when you guys would come to Sedalia during the summer! Katie made the best peanut butter fudge in the world! My mom and Aunt Wanda were always jealous that their peanut butter fudge just didn’t come out the same. Katie attributed it to Bill’s strong arms stirring each batch! They worked it out ’cause Grandma Viola, Aunt Wanda and Shirley made the best peanut brittle and divinity! So they traded sweets and not necessarily at Christmas time! And giggle!!! Oh, my – heaven will never be quiet with these ladies being together again!!!! Love you all!
