In Loving Memory…

Israel Shepard Eigsti

Israel Shepard Eigsti, precious baby son of Kylan and June Eigsti, from Sedalia, MO was born at Cox South Hospital, Springfield, MO on Sept 14, 2019 at 12:38 p.m.

Israel was born with anencephaly and had a heartbeat until he went to be with Jesus at 1:51 p.m.

Sharing with our pain during this difficult journey is our family; paternal grandparents, Matthew and Gloria Eigsti, Hughesville, MO; maternal grandparents, Luke and Corene Knox, Sedalia, MO; eleven uncles; nine aunts; and sixteen cousins, who all live in the Sedalia, MO area; paternal great-grandparents, Frank and Sarah Christner, Pocahontas, AR; maternal great-grandmother, Lena Hostetler, Otterville, MO.

Preceding him in death is his uncle, Steve Alan Knox; paternal great-grandparents, Jerrold and Bessie Eigsti; maternal great-grandparents, Harold and Florence Knox; and great-grandpa, Lester Hostetler.

We prayed for you and how we love you, but with our hearts breaking we give you, our dear child, back to Jesus in Heaven, where you are no longer damaged or impaired but whole and complete.

Our soul waiteth for the Lord: He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His Holy name. Let Thy mercy O Lord be upon us, according as we hope in Thee. – Psalm 33:20-22

Thank you and God bless you to each one for the kindness and support you have shown to us over this past year. We appreciate all the prayers, help, and expressions of sympathy during this time of grief and sadness.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 16, 2019, at Olive Hill Amish-Mennonite Church.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.
